Where I am from
By: Nicholas Hsu I am from mulch, from the swings and the slides in the park, that fly as high as an eagle. I'm from the white-painted wood that makes up my desk. I'm from the lush grass, from the goals on the field and the soccer ball. Whack! I'm from lined paper, from pencil lead and red ink. I'm from black hair, and brown eyes. I come from parents born in Taiwan, I'm from Team Celebr8, from Creekside, from the Earth. |
